Why your Blog needs an AWESOME Grammar Tool!
Why your Blog needs an AWESOME Grammar Tool!
How many times have you gone to a website or Blog and found it was full of countless spelling mistakes and bad grammar? If you’re anything like me, you’re raising your hand right now! There are ways to correct this that are so simple, yet I don’t understand why these sites haven’t implemented it. Sure you can use your word processors spell check or the spell check in your blogs editing tool, but why settle for something that only looks for spelling mistakes? You need an Awesome Grammar Tool that will detect anything from bad spelling to plagiarism to incorrect punctuation, and much more.

Let me introduce you to Grammarly…
I am somewhat of a new Blogger (been at it for 4 months), and Grammarly was one of the first services I implemented in my Blog. I still use it today, and would never give it up. I absolutely love it and would not write a post without it!
I am a bit of a Grammar freak when it comes to reading and listening to other people, but most of all the reading part is what gets me (I used to be a Proofreader!). I suppose you can call me OCD about it, but I cringe when people write papers, posts, reports, and anything else that includes bad grammar and spelling. I am compelled to correct them, which puts people off lol….I’m getting better though lol!
If these people would use this awesome grammar tool, there would be no need for someone like me to point out all of their grammar mistakes!
I’m not saying that my grammar is perfect, I know it’s not. I look at some of my posts and want to rewrite them because some of my mistakes are obvious. My posts have improved with the help of Grammarly, I’d be lost without it!
Check out what Grammarly has to offer…….
Grammarly is a spell checker that is FREE! The free version of Grammarly will check your spelling and punctuation and give you the proper way you should write. My writing has greatly improved by Grammarly checking my spelling, punctuation, and grammar for mistakes that I didn’t even know WERE mistakes! How cool is that? The premium version will check for 250 and more points of grammar, check your content for plagiarism, and even help you greatly improve your vocabulary.
The free version will detect 100 points of grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes. Using the free version is at least recommended if you write any type of content on a computer, laptop, or tablet. My previous way of writing was Microsoft Word, which does have a spell check, but Grammarly actually explains why you made a mistake in the first place. Like inserting a comma in a place that you didn’t even know needed a comma! Plus Microsoft Word doesn’t have a cool logo at the bottom right hand of your editor that turns red when you’ve made a mistake. Mine is green at this point in my post (no mistakes!)
Grammarly improves your vocabulary! How many times have you used the same words over and over again? Grammarly has a Vocabulary Enhancement feature that will tell you that you’ve “overused” a word, and make suggestions for alternate words with the same meaning, thus enhancing your vocabulary. This feature is only available in the Grammarly premium feature though, which is what I recommend for Bloggers and content writers.
Grammarly is very easy to use. It comes as a free extension to Chrome and Firefox, and even as add-ons for MS Word and Outlook. When I’m writing just about anything on my laptop from the internet, Grammarly is there guiding the way to error-free content. Even when writing comments on Facebook, Grammarly is the awesome Grammar Tool that is always there!

I’ll tell you, Grammarly has helped me improve my content writing significantly to the point to where I have written this entire post with ZERO errors! I now know what to look for and anticipate what Grammarly is going to tell me if I make a mistake! I still make mistakes, of course, we all do, but good spelling and grammar, along with awesome intelligent vocabulary, improve the readers’ experience, and I’ve read MANY blogs in my time! Grammarly is a winner…HANDS DOWN!
If you’re not using Grammarly with your Blog, in my opinion, you are missing out on an awesome service that will help improve the readability of your blog and keep your readers engaged and coming back for more!
Are you using Grammarly? How has it improved your writing and use of vocabulary? Let me know in the comments!
